- Entre autres marottes,j'ai depuis longtemps chiné et accumulé de façon systématique,voire obsessionnelle,osons le mot,collectionné,ces vieux bouquins pour enfants, généralement offerts par des parrains sans trop d'imagination,pour récompenser la réussite scolaire ou pour l'anniversaire de charmantes têtes blondes, supposées désireuses de comprendre le monde qui les entourait, durant les trente glorieuses.Cet intérêt maladif n'a jamais été motivé par une insatiable soif de connaissances, mais par une fascination pour l'originalité des mises en page,la fraicheur des couleurs,le choix des typos et surtout pour la beauté singulière des illustrations en couleurs pédagogiques, explicatives, souvent poétiques,qui avaient pour vocation de faire découvrir le monde moderne, et de faire rêver dans un grand élan enthousiaste et naïf de positivisme et de scientisme non dénué de paternalisme gentiment sexiste et colonialiste.
